A lack of CCTV cameras has meant a glassing attacker has escaped conviction after a New Year's Eve assault, victim Kylie Keough says. Ms Keough was hit in the face with a glass on December 31, 2008, at the Ashmont Inn but 17 months later the attacker has yet to be charged. Although the venue has extensive video surveillance, the beer garden in which Ms Keough was assaulted was a blind spot.
